Alone we go fast. Together we go further!

After 2 years of meetings, trainings and exchange of good practices the Art4Act  – Art in action for an inclusive society project, co-financed by the the Erasmus+ programme, is officially over. 8 partner organizations, 7 from European countries and one from Tunisia worked to identify, share and develop artistic practices to promote inclusion.

February 26th-27th took place in Seville, Spain the Displaced in Media HackCamp reuniting around thirty journalists, media activates and youth workers. The participants were divided in four different tables: Hack the Media, Media Activism, Political Impact and Expanded Education.

Sunday 25th February, Les Têtes de l’Art organised in Marseille, in the public space at the event Les Dimanches de la Canebière, the collective performance called “In my home”. This relational performance, imagined by Tania Alice (Performers Without Borders) assisted by Aziz Boumediene, and performed by thirteen youth workers and the young people they are working with, was a success.

March 1st and 2nd 2018 took place in Seville, Spain the meeting of the research experts. The research is concentrated in revealing solidarity practices in Poland, Spain, Croatia, France and Moldova. Culture for Solidarity is a 2,5 years European project co-financed by Creative Europe programme. Les Têtes de l’Art has been invited to take part of this artistic investigation into root causes of fragmentation in Europe.

February 2nd-3rd took place in Köln, Germany the first reunion of the seven partners of the CulTrees project. The opportunity to discuss about the last details of the training that will take place in Larissa, Grece, between July 1st-7th and will involve 21 participants.

From January 2018, Les Têtes de l’Art accepted to join the “OnGea – ONline GEAr enhancing Youth Work” project, financed through the Erasmus+ programme. Coordinated by ROOTS & ROUTES Cologne (Germany) the project is implemented together with 10 project partners – cultural and artistic organisations from Italy, Netherlands, UK, Greece, Lithuania, Hungary, Romania, Spain and France.

In 2017-2018, Les Têtes de l’Art in collaboration with Les citoyens de la terre (Earth’s citizens), Mediterranean Citizens Assembly Fondation and many other Mediterranean partners are promoting the protection of the environment. In our region, Provence-Alpes-Côtes d‘Azur, multiple workshops related with the circular economy, transformation and reuse of the waste, recycling will be proposed.

In 2017, in the framework of the European project “Displaced in Media”, Les Têtes de l’Art in collaboration with a professional video maker Stefan Sao Nélet, animated multiple video workshops, with refugees and asylum seekers. Partnerships were established with the associations that are in direct contact with the refugees, AAJT (Association for Assistance to Young Workers) and Fraternity Solidarity Across Borders Association.
