On March 14-15, the first meeting of the European project MediActivism was held in Marseille. Two representatives of the 6 partners of the consortium made the trip.

The first day allowed us to get to know each other better and to discuss the objectives of the project:

– give young people the opportunity to train in media activism tools,

– to accompany the citizens in their actions related to the “Right to the City”.

The second day was dedicated to discussing the tools to develop for the management of this project, paying particular attention to the evaluation of results.

The second transnational meeting will be organized by ECF – European Cultural Foundation, the project leader, in Amsterdam next June. It will enable us to establish a common methodology for organizing a “Hackcamp” in Marseille in October 2019.

Meetings with young people and associations fighting for “the right to the city” will be organized upstream in order to better understand the skills, motivations, interests and methods of setting up such an action.
